Unit of Inquiry
We continued our gardening session and this week students had fun doing some craft activities for their plant bed. They enjoyed making scarecrows for their bed.

We completed our unit by revisiting things we learnt and understanding our students learning with respect to the important concepts taught during this unit.

We revisited short vowel 'a', 'i' and 'e' word families.
Math
Symmetry
We introduced symmetry and students enjoyed identifying symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes.
They created shapes that are symmetrical.
They understood that our body is symmetrical.
Show and tell
Students continued to bring show and tell to share their research findings about things we get from plants.
Christmas Celebration
Students enjoyed doing craft work for the Christmas and New Year celebration.
They enjoyed decorating their cookies.
